Gospel Recording artist Fantasia Barrino of The Barrino Family is proof that the Lord is still alive and strong today.  In 1993 The Barrino Family was inspired by God to form a group and spread the word of God.  The family group consist of Jo & Diane Barrino, Cynthia Price and America’s newest Idol Fantasia Barrino. 

The Barrino Family signed with First Lite Records in 1999 and had their first release with the label in May of 2000.  The project is titled “Miracles”, which is something Fantasia has recently learned all about.  This release has hit songs such as “Miracles”, “One Hour”, “New Wine” and “Jesus Is Coming Soon” along with Fantasia doing the lead on “What Shall I Give”, “Amen” and “Teach Me Oh Lord”.  Fantasia also does the lead with her parents (Jo and Diane Barrino) on “Meet Me Half Way”. 

The Barrino Family's dedication to the Lord is truly amazing.  Because of their faithful way of doing God’s will, the Lord has blessed them tremendously by the talent given to them and allowed them to experience the joy of seeing souls saved.
